Catherine Zeta-Jones announced the launch of this line via Instagram and explained that she wanted to bring joy and comfort to women with her products.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, she explained that she had once had a horrendous blister from a pair of shoes at the airport, and she went into a shop looking for something comfier to change. That’s where she discovered and bought her first pair of Butterfly Twists shoes. And that is how it all began.
Butterfly Twists has been sourcing vegan materials since 2019 and invested resources into reusing ocean plastics wherever possible. Selling in over 60 countries, the international brand has Zeta-Jones’s endorsement. She says that she became a fan because they are comfortable and elegant at the same time, with the added plus of being cruelty-free.
Going on to describe why she wanted to create the range, Zeta-Jones described it as ‘an extension’ of herself’.
