Start your weekend with Sangria, a refreshingly fresh and fruity aperitif. Our easy fruit purée meets a splash of fizz in this sparkling spin on sangria.

Ingredients

Fruit Purée
  • 2 Strawberries
  • 4 Raspberries
  • 1 Nectarine
  • 1 Small peach
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Sangria
  • 1 Bottle Edenvale Rosé
  • 2 Tablespoon elderflower cordial
  • 1/4 Vanilla bean, halved lengthwise
  • 1 Nectarine
  • 1 Peach
  • 4 Fresh strawberries
  • 4 Fresh raspberries
  • Sparkling water

Method

  1. Peel stone fruit. Halve, pit, then coarsely chop.
  2. Place chopped fruit in mini-processor or blender, then add lemon juice. Purée until smooth and transfer to a large pitcher or jar.
  3. Add rosé and elderflower liqueur to fruit purée in pitcher. Scrape in seeds from vanilla bean and add to the mix.
  4. Cut fruit, except raspberries, into 1/2″ wedges then add all fruit to the pitcher. Chill for at least 1 hour and up to 2 days.
  5. Fill glasses with ice. Pour in sangria and fruit until glasses are 2/3 full. Top with sparkling water. Stir and serve.
