There is a certain magic in Hong Kong’s air at Christmas time. And at Shangri-La Group’s Hong Kong hotels that magic is amplified – with the iconic hotelier spreading happiness through a festive “North Pole Wonderland” experience that hums merrily from Admiralty’s Island Shangri-La across the harbour to waterfront Kowloon Shangri-La and The Kerry.
Upon a glistening winter backdrop sure to put you in a snap-happy mood, here are three ways the group’s Christmas festivities are bringing us joy.
The Joy of Festive Feasting

If there is ever a time to indulge, it is this time of year – after all, memories involving festive food are the ultimate sign that it has been a wonderful holiday. Across the Shangri-La hotels, the dining experience is a meeting of an abundance of options and the jolliest of flair. From turkey with all the trimmings at The Kerry’s Big Bay Café to a seafood platter and Christmas cocktails at the Tapas Bar at Kowloon Shangri-La, and an eight-course French fine-dining feast, including exquisite George Bruck foie gras, at Island Shangri-La’s Petrus, there is a dizzying array of menu options to light up your taste buds. For those looking to take the finest quality food home with them, a Christmas Roast and other delights are available at Island Gourmet.
The Joy of Giving Goodies

Get ready to receive plenty of ‘Oh, you shouldn’t haves’ this Christmas with the Shangri-La Group’s range of irresistible sweets, cakes, and chocolates. Garnished with festive flair and dustings of “snow”, they look – almost – too pretty to eat. You’ll also find very merry hampers overflowing with gourmet goodies including the Traditional Favourites hamper filled with all the Christmas classics, plus some of the finest tipples in town. The East Meet West hamper features picks from both Europe and the Orient, perfect for those well-travelled connoisseurs who love to indulge in the best of both worlds.
The Joy of Giving Back

Is there anything that warms the heart at Christmas time quite like a child’s wish upon a star being granted? For 25 days of December, all four Shangri-La hotels in Hong Kong (including JEN) will pick a star from their “Tree of Wishes” that belongs to a child from Heep Hong Society – a leading children education and rehabilitation organisation – and grants the child and their family an extra-special experience within the hotel. You can help too – purchase a fluffy polar bear dressed in its Christmas best and support Heep Hong Society in providing professional training and education to kids with special educational needs.
